Our fees are dependent on the type and complexity of the case and the seniority of the barrister/s you wish to instruct.  Timescales for completing the case also depend on the type and complexity of the case and the availability of the barrister/s you wish to instruct.

The fee structure depends on the case. We charge a brief fee for preparation for a trial and the first day of trial, and a refresher fee for each subsequent day of trial, including ongoing preparation. The same applies to direction hearings. In other cases we may charge fixed fees or hourly fees. Cases that qualify for legal aid will be billed under the legal aid regulations as set out by the Legal Aid Agency.

Additionally, with regard to public access cases, we charge a fee of £25 for administrative services provided including photocopying and printing up to 100 pages (black and white only). We charge a further fee of £0.10p for each additional page.

VAT may be added to fees, depending on whether the barrister/s you have instructed are VAT registered.
